We’re all leading busy lives and - I bet a lot of you are feeling this - time seems like it’s flying faster than ever before.
That being said, what helps you slow down time? (if only in your mind)
Is it taking a walk, meditating, spending time with family/pets, listening to certain music, yoga… something else entirely? What works to make time and the pace of life slow down, if only momentarily?
Reason I ask is I was driving early in the morning back to my house from the gym and I had my Spotify mix on shuffle. A lot of songs were fast-paced, high- energy selections. But I purposefully throw in some different vibes - like classical-sounding music, for instance (sometimes fast-paced, often slow) - and this beautiful piano song came on.
I swear that, for those 4 minutes or so, everything slowed down. I felt present, reflective and introspective, and had a great period of gratitude. 4 minutes felt like 4 hours. It was really cool, and very special.
